  1. Applications are invited from suitably qualified Indian Citizen for the posts of Captain and Co-Pilot in Air India Express.

  2. Applicants must be in possession of following licenses / documents which should be current at the time of selection and induction for training :-
    1. Licenses
      1. CAPTAINS - ATPL
      2. CO-PILOTS - ATPL / CPL
      3. FRTO license
      4. COP / RTR for all Pilots
      5. Medical Certificate (CA-35) issued in previous six months.
      6. Current passport (if not available, proof of submission of application to be attached. Possession of passport mandatory at the time of joining)

      3. CategoryPostExperience01     Captain    PIC on B737-700 / 80002     Trainee Captain   With type endorsement on B737-700 / 800 - 2000 hrs on type and holding current ATPL.03     First Officer   With type endorsement on B737-700 / 800 - 500 hrs on type and holding current CPL /ATPL.Note : In case not qualified on B 737 NG, due weightage will be given to command experience on Multiengine Jet / Turboprop transport aircraft and any prior airline experience.

  3. Remuneration :
    4. PostGross Emoluments  Captain           Presently Rs 4.5 lac / month. Under review.   Co-Pilot           Presently Rs 2.05 lac / month. Under review.Note : In addition to the above, the following would also be admissible :

    1. All flying crew will be eligible for relevant Lay-over and Daily Allowance as per current industrial practice.
    2. Captains having current Instructor / Examiner / Check Pilot approval on type at the time of joining will be considered for additional emoluments, as follows :-Check Pilots     :Rs 1,000/- per hour of actual flyingInstructors        :        Rs 1,500/- per hour of actual flyingExaminers        :         Rs 2,000/- per hour of actual flying


  4. Bases of operation : Cochin, Calicut, Trivandrum, Chennai, Mangalore, Bombay and Delhi
